Plant Manager

Overview Company: Filterbuy Position: Plant Manager Location: New Kensington, PA Duration: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $110-145k Filterbuy, a leader in the air quality and manufacturing world, is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of manufacturing and distribution at Filterbuy’s facility in New Kensington, PA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operations management, process optimization, and team leadership. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Plant Manager will be based in New Kensington, PA and will occasionally be required to travel to facilities across the United States and Canada. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Directly oversee daily manufacturing and distribution operations in New Kensington, PA. Champion a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and innovation throughout the operation. Lead production planning, logistics, inventory management, and fulfillment strategies to improve service levels and operational efficiency. Identify and implement process improvements that reduce waste, variation, and costs across operations. Ensure sufficient production capacity to meet current and future sales demand, including scaling for new product launches. Develop and maintain efficient, safe processes and production systems. Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across multiple locations to foster a culture of collaboration and excellence. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution. At least 3 years in a senior operations leadership role in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and virtual communication tools such as Slack. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish. Experience managing operations across multiple sites. Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
