Job Position: Environmental Technician

Location: Menomonee Falls, WI 53051

Pay Rate: $20.50/hr

Shift: First

Description: Starting Pay: $20.50/hour

Looking for a hands-on position where you can build valuable skills and grow your career? Join our team as a Hazardous Materials / Warehouse Operator and become part of a team dedicated to safely managing and removing hazardous materials from the waste stream.

This is a physically active, hands-on role with opportunities to gain experience in hazardous materials handling, environmental regulations, warehouse operations, forklift operation, and more.

What You’ll Do
Safely handle, consolidate, treat, store, transport, and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mobile equipment to move containers and materials.
Load and unload trailers and move materials to and from storage and treatment areas.
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. throughout the workday.
Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
Follow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work both indoors and outdoors, including non-climate-controlled environments.
Work as part of a professional team while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
What We’re Looking For

Required:
High School Diploma or GED.
1+ years of experience working with hazardous materials.
Ability to safely operate or learn to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
Ability to hear vehicle warning chimes and alarms.
Ability to work in a variety of weather and environmental conditions.
Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toe shoes, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and a respirator. Facial hair that interferes with respirator use is not permitted.

Preferred:
Warehouse, manufacturing, environmental services, or industrial experience.
Basic computer skills for completing web-based training.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Reliable attendance and flexibility to occasionally work nights, weekends, or variable schedules.
Professional and respectful communication with coworkers and customers.
