Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Medical Editor, the full-time position will manage editorial services including medical editing, copyediting, and fact-checking for pharmaceutical advertising materials, while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and adherence to style guidelines. Key responsibilities Edit and proofread various pharmaceutical materials for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with AMA style Participate in the content review process, ensuring factual accuracy and appropriate referencing Lead editorial projects and support the onboarding of new team members while managing multiple competing deadlines Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience 5+ years of editing experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical advertising agency Thorough knowledge of current AMA style and familiarity with FDA requirements for drug promotion Demonstrated experience with medical terminology and regulatory reviews Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
