Software Development Specialist Advisor

Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Execution: Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications and Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
- Module Validation: Perform functional and backend testing across core Oracle EBS modules (e.g., Financials: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM; SCM: PO, OM, INV, WIP, BOM).
- Backend & Database Testing: Write complex SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts to validate data migrations, verify interface logic, and troubleshoot backend tables.
- RICEW Testing: Validate Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows (RICEW), ensuring custom components map accurately to business needs.
- Integration & API Validation: Test integrations between Oracle EBS and third-party systems using Web Services, APIs, and SOA architectures.
- Defect Management: Log, track, and retest bugs using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Bugzilla, collaborating with offshore/onshore technical teams for quick resolution.
- Documentation: Maintain traceability matrices and update technical/functional documentation (e.g., MD050, TE040, AIM methodology).
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of dedicated experience in QA, Business Analysis, or Implementation support within Oracle EBS environments.
- SQL & PL/SQL: High proficiency in reading, writing, and debugging SQL queries and PL/SQL packages.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial accounting rules, supply chain end-to-end flows, and order-to-cash (O2C) or procure-to-pay (P2P) cycles.
- Tools: Hands-on experience with Oracle Workflow Builder, BI/XML Publisher, and automated testing frameworks.
- Soft Skills: Sharp analytical skills, high attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
