Chief Operating Officer

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operation teams at Connection Pointe which includes finance, facilities, legal and compliance, safety and security, and IT. This leader will also provide oversight for CPCC’s early childhood education Academy and sports and fitness ministries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strengthens alignment at the executive level; partnering cross-functionally Brings disciplines execution to strategy Communicates complex decisions and data clearly Discerns strategic priorities in a fast-growing environment Experience leading complex operations and/or multi-faceted ministry environments (including programmatic or community-facing ministries) Ministry Oversight The Academy (daycare) Sports & Fitness Ministry Financial Expertise & Acumen Effectively leads 5-year strategic and financial modeling Experience in sensitivity planning and scenario forecasting Disciplined in budgeting, audits and financial stewardship Strategic financial communication and implementation Ensures appropriate legal, regulatory, and organizational compliance through effective policies, governance, and internal controls Oversees major building projects & budgets Leads pre-construction negotiation and planning Brings strategic direction to facilities and security Strong people leadership and collaboration with external vendors Safety, Security & Risk Management Provides strategic oversight of church-wide safety and security initiatives across all campuses Ensures emergency preparedness, crisis response planning, and appropriate security protocols Partners with internal leaders and external agencies to create safe environments Oversees organizational risk management and business continuity planning Systems Builder & Sustainer Designs and improves operational systems Anticipates needs others do not see Moves teams from reactive to proactive Oversees and implements projects from start to execution Provides executive oversight of technology systems, reporting, and operational data that enable informed decision-making Culture Builder Builds a culture of accountability & ownership Passion about leadership and talent development for staff

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and evidence that He is the “main thing” in their life Commitment to membership in the church and active participation alongside the Connection Pointe family and within the local community 10+ years of senior leadership experience in church, nonprofit, or business operations Strong people leadership and project management skills Ability to delegate effectively and lead staff to desired outcomes Oversight of multi-department operations, including finance Experience leading financial planning and long-range modeling Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations or related field #J-18808-Ljbffr Connection Pointe Christian Church
