Helps create exceptional value in the lives of customers by delivering legendary customer service and perfectly crafted high‑quality eyewear that exceeds expectations. Major Duties & Responsibilities Greets all customers with a warm welcome, exchanges names, and ensures they know what to expect. Custom fits glasses and precisely places prescription lenses. Act as a leader in optical acumen and provide a voice for associates. Take and record measurements, adjust or fit eyewear correctly, and ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer requirements. Attract new customers. Explore customers’ needs and priorities by asking open‑ended questions. Be attentive to details, ask follow‑up questions for clarity, read verbal and non‑verbal cues; review prescriptions and identify special needs. Assist co‑workers with difficult or complex product and prescription needs. Utilize store tools and adhere to Brand Store Commitments. Perform work accurately and thoroughly, handling technology efficiently under time pressure and customer volume. Demonstrate superior product knowledge and describe the features and benefits of lenses and frames using appropriate tools; reinforce customers’ final selection. Anticipate problems, explore underlying reasons for customer issues, and develop long‑term solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Possess the ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities. Commit to delivery date and time, seek feedback, and ask for referrals. Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies. Present, celebrate, and educate at pick‑up. Take pride in store appearance, keep the store clean, attractive, and organized, and protect company assets. Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices. Possess a "can do" spirit and strong drive for results; be self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning and improvement. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to discounting, promotions, and inventory management. Sell on your feet 80%-100% of the time. Perform additional duties as assigned (e.g., customer calls, dispensing eyewear). Maintain proper dress code, name tag, and associate tablet. Basic Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. State licensure. Optical dispensing experience. Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder. Knowledge of current store merchandise. Basic math skills. Awareness of current fashion trends. Selling skills and ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet. Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
