Labor & Delivery Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Schedule - Weekends: Yes — every other weekend - On-call: Yes during low census
Assignment Details - Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements - Experience: 2 years required - Certifications: AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP, STABLE - EMR: Epic (required)
Roles & Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive care to patients during labor and delivery. - Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs. - Assist in vaginal deliveries and C-section procedures. - Implement postpartum care and management of complications. - Educate patients and families on breastfeeding and postpartum recovery.
Compliance / Notes - Orientation: 72 hours - Must have a vehicle for this assignment - Requested time off (RTO): Up to 6 days total or 3 consecutive days auto-approved; requests >6 days require approval - Holiday coverage: Must commit to working 3 of these 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
