Mental Health Specialist/Youth Mentor

INNERPEACE THERAPY

Job Description

Minimum of bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social work, Child development, or related field. Prior experience working with children in the school or office setting, after-school or community setting. Training in social-emotional learning, evidenced based practices, and positive behavior support. Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and ability to build trust with youth and families. Background checks and finger printing required. Role: Provide direct support and mentoring students through one on one and small group sessions in a school setting. Bilingual/bicultural skills preferred to support diverse family populations. Part time positions available.
