EHC is currently looking for a Skid Steer Operator for a client on the northwest side of Houston, TX.
Overview:
We are looking for a reliable, skilled skid steer operator to support outdoor biochar production operations. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail and clear communication.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a skid steer to transport and weigh production bins; relay weight to the production operator via walkie-talkie
- Refill the hopper with pecans as needed
- Monitor water levels throughout the production process
- Observe biochar output quality - report excess embers or brown char to the operator immediately
Requirements:
- Proficient, experienced skid steer operator
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended shifts in variable conditions
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Dependable and able to commit to the full assignment schedule
