Delivery Service DriverWe're seeking a hardworking, self-motivated individual with a passion for helping people. This position is ideal for candidates who value quality work and believe in earning the trust of their team and customer's each day.As a Delivery Service Driver you will be responsible for safely and efficiently providing delivery service to Mackey's customers. The goal of Mackey's delivery service is to reliably provide goods to customers as conveniently as possible. Many of the items we deliver are animal care products, which means that customers are trusting us to deliver the correct product, in proper condition, and timely.We offer the delivery of heavy and bulky items so that customers can conveniently get the products they need to their home or farm. Therefore, this position requires repetitive lifting and carrying of goods weighing up to 50lbs and bulky goods, such as bales of hay or soil.We're a small business with big dreams and we are looking for people who want to join us on this mission...because Mackey's Grows.RequirementsAge Requirements: Must be 18 years or olderWhat abilities I must have:Problem solver who is able to resourcefully overcome challenges.Leadership qualities such as leading by example and supporting the success of team members.Exhibit organization and prioritization skills to complete deliverables within deadlines while managing intermittent requests and interruptions.Recognize and seek opportunities to learn more about products and processes to enhance Mackey's customer experience.Properly handle, maintain, and store merchandise to ensure product integrity and safety for customers and team members.Maintain teamwork and diversity awareness by having an inclusive approach to working with customers and team members.Work environment:Mackey's is a fast paced retail service that involves continuous interaction with customers, team members, and the ongoing evolution of the business. Responsibilities require active movements that include reaching, bending, and lifting. Product weights range from 5 – 60 lbs., with occasional variances due to product condition. Seasonality of the business and corresponding product offerings involves the exposure to varying temperatures and allergens.
