Overview

Join a well-established commercial mechanical contractor in Kansas City with a clear path into Project Management. You’ll work directly under a tenured Operations Manager who will mentor and develop you into a full PM role.

Responsibilities

Support Project Managers on commercial HVAC/plumbing projects
Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and change orders
Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors
Help manage schedules, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
Attend project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders
Track project progress and identify potential risks/issues

Qualifications

1–5+ years in construction (mechanical preferred)
Experience with commercial projects a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc. preferred)
Eagerness to learn and grow into Project Management
