Job Summary The Clinical Nurse PD AC is responsible for the planning and delivery of family-centered patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Collaborate with patient/family and other professional disciplines. Create a partnership to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery for the achievement of mutually desired patient outcomes. Support the organization’s vision and mission. Promote and provide excellence in nursing care. Pay Range Minimum $73.44 Midpoint $75.48 Maximum $77.52 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements. Experience • Required: Minimum one (1) year acute care nursing experience with six (6) months in a pediatric setting. • Preferred: Over one (1) year acute care nursing in a pediatric inpatient hospital. Education • Required: Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing; Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) (effective on all offers made after November 1, 2015) Training • Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). • Preferred: Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN). Licensure • Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS); Ped. Advanced Life Support (PALS); Registered Nurse - CA (RN). • Preferred: Critical Care Registered Nurse Work Environments - Functional Demand: Light - Moderate energy level Lift and carry 25-35 lbs. Push/pull 50-100 lbs. (ie. empty bed, stretcher).
