What You’ll Do

As a Certified Nursing Assistant , you’ll provide compassionate, dependable support to clients in the comfort of their own homes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
• Accompany clients to grocery stores, doctor appointments, pharmacies, and other outings
• Assist clients with active and passive mobility exercises according to their plan of care
• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition to the Director of Nursing
• Provide companionship and day-to-day assistance while helping clients maintain their independence

What You’ll Need

• Valid Florida CNA certification/license in good standing
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid CPR certification
• Physical and negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Successful completion of required drug screening and motor vehicle background screening
• Spanish-speaking skills preferred
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
