Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor - Data Center ConstructionTurner & Townsend are looking for a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of large-scale mission-critical and data center construction projects across the Phoenix metropolitan area. This role will provide cost management and commercial support throughout the project lifecycle, partnering with clients, contractors, and project teams to help deliver complex construction programs successfully.The ideal candidate will be driven, client-focused, and promote Turner & Townsend's purpose and values. Responsibilities include advising clients on strategies, managing prequalification of vendors, managing estimating services for full projects, managing cost reporting, managing cost control process, managing & monitoring invoicing process, benchmarking performance against other successful commissions, managing all facets of the final accounting process and post-contract audits and account closeouts, holding post-contract reviews with the client to establish a lessons learned document and apply findings to future project delivery, developing procedures governing project handover, and performing all the duties above through the use/preparation of Bid Analysis Sheets, Change Control Forms, Cost Estimating Software, and Take-off Software. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role and are to be adhered to where applicable.Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field, minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a cost management, quantity surveying, or commercial role within the construction industry, experience supporting medium to large-scale construction projects, preferably within mission-critical, data center, industrial, commercial, or similar complex construction environments, construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred, RICS accredited or working toward accreditation is valued, good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement strategies, value management, estimating, and value engineering, and strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.*On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our clients' needs.*Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
