Family Services Specialist (Bilingual Creole required)

Location: Delray Beach/Boynton Beach area, FL Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (M-Th: 8AM-5:30PM/Fri: 8AM-12PM) Pay: up to $23.39 per hour commensurate with experience The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County is seeking a dedicated and bilingual Family Services Specialist to advocate for families and help them access essential early learning programs and services. What You'll Do Provide Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) services in the community. Screen applicants for financial assistance and determine eligibility for programs such as School Readiness, VPK, CSC Scholarship, Head Start and Early Head Start. Advocate for families, assess needs, and assist with enrollment, transfers, and service terminations. Maintain accurate family information in the Enhanced Field System (EFS) database. Manage a caseload while accurately documenting case notes and ensuring compliance with confidentiality and reporting requirements. What We're Looking For Bilingual proficiency i n English & Creole – Required (read, write, speak). Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services, Social Work, or related field. At least 2 years of experience in CCR&R, eligibility determination, or childcare enrollment processes. Strong customer service and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues.
