Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer (PaaS)

Job Description Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer supporting an Intelligence customer in Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO. Responsible for developing and maintaining the Agency-wide Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) capability across multiple security domains, utilizing Agile Scrum methodology. Responsibilities Operational Maintenance (O&M) of existing Red Hat OpenShift environments across security domains in Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments. Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps. Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online. Collaborate with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale platforms. Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions. Support data services such as RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Stack. Compile detailed documentation. Qualifications & Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or related technical discipline. 5–8 years developer experience. U.S. citizenship. Top Secret/SCI clearance required, with ability to obtain Top Secret SCI + Polygraph. DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements, including one of: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA. Desired Skills Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in cloud and/or vSphere environments. Experience with Amazon Web Services. Python, Shell scripting, Git. Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS. CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins. Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundry ecosystem. Salary Range $119,850 - $162,150. Work Details Location: Springfield, VA (or St. Louis, MO). Weekly Hours: 40. Travel: None. Telecommuting: Onsite.
