We are strengthening our internal IT capability and looking for a service-minded problem solver who wants hands-on support experience, exposure to systems administration, and opportunities to grow professionally.#### Position SummaryThe Junior Systems Administrator is the primary day-to-day point of contact for IT support across all company locations. Based in our main office, this position owns ticket triage and resolution, employee onboarding and offboarding, hardware lifecycle support, routine account administration, routine monitoring of general health and proficiency of all IT systems, and first-line network and systems troubleshooting.This position reports to the IT & Business Systems Supervisor, who provides technical guidance, escalation support, and oversight. The Junior Systems Administrator is expected to take ownership of assigned issues and drive them toward resolution while involving the supervisor in higher-risk decisions, material system changes, security-sensitive matters, and unfamiliar or complex problems.This is a developmental role. The initial focus is excellent technical support, onboarding, equipment management, and ticket ownership. As proficiency grows, responsibilities may expand to Microsoft administration, networking, security awareness, vendor coordination, business applications such as Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and IT projects based on demonstrated capability and business needs.#### Essential FunctionsThe following duties are considered fundamental responsibilities of the position. The employee must be able to perform these functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.**IT Support and Service Management*** Own and actively manage the IT ticket queue for team members across all company locations.* Triage and prioritize requests, communicate status and expected next steps, resolve issues within the position’s scope, and escalate complex or higher-risk matters when appropriate.* Provide quick, professional technical support by telephone, remote-support tools, electronic communication, and in person, demonstrating patience and adapting technical explanations to each user’s familiarity and comfort with technology.* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, account, access, connectivity, printer, peripheral, mobile device, and business application issues.* Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions, maintain useful knowledge articles, identify recurring issues, and address root causes rather than symptoms.**Accounts, Devices, and Employee Lifecycle*** Coordinate IT onboarding and offboarding for employees across all locations.* Complete or coordinate account setup, licensing, access assignments, equipment preparation, equipment shipping, equipment collection, and timely removal of access.* Protect confidential employee, customer, business, and system information throughout onboarding, offboarding, and support activities.* Manage company computers, mobile devices, peripherals, and other assigned IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including inventory, configuration, deployment, repair, replacement, warranty work, and secure retirement of equipment.* Assist with administration of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune, including users, groups, licenses, device enrollment, compliance, application deployment, policies, and patching under established standards and manager oversight.* Monitor assigned backup, endpoint management, and security tools; respond to routine alerts and assist with restore validation or recovery testing as directed.**Infrastructure and Network Support*** Monitor the health and availability of onsite IT systems and assist with troubleshooting wired and wireless connectivity, internet service, network equipment, and related infrastructure.* Learn, maintain, and improve documentation of the company’s network topology, technology inventory, system dependencies, configurations, procedures, and support contacts.* Coordinate with internet service providers, managed service partners, software vendors, and other technical partners. Provide vendors with clear and accurate information, track open issues, document progress, and follow issues through resolution or escalation.**Schedule, Travel, and On-Call Support*** Maintain regular and reliable attendance consistent with the assigned work schedule.* Maintain regular on-site presence at the Sandy office because the position performs hands-on equipment preparation, asset management, device deployment, network troubleshooting, and in-person employee support.* Travel between company locations as needed to provide hands-on support, deploy or retrieve equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist with IT projects. * Participate in a rotating on-call schedule shared within the IT group and respond to assigned urgent issues and alerts within established expectations.* Participate in occasional planned maintenance, network testing, recovery exercises, or urgent support outside normal business hours.* Accurately record all time worked, including brief after-hours calls, messages, alert reviews, remote sessions, troubleshooting, documentation, and other active responses. Follow the company’s overtime-approval procedures while reporting all hours actually worked.#### Additional and Developmental ResponsibilitiesThe following duties may be assigned based on the employee’s demonstrated proficiency, available supervision, and business needs:**Business Applications, Security, and Projects*** Learn the company’s core business systems, including Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and assist with user access, licensing, basic configuration, troubleshooting, guidance, and escalation within established procedures and assigned authority.* Help administer the company's security awareness program, including training assignments, completion follow-up, reporting, phishing simulations, and reinforcement of safe technology practices.* Take ownership of appropriately scoped IT projects such as hardware refreshes, software rollouts, process improvements, documentation initiatives, and configuration changes, with manager approval and oversight.* Assist with IT vendor relationships, licensing, renewals, service reviews, purchasing coordination, and evaluation of technical solutions.* Look for practical ways to improve reliability, security, user experience, documentation, and the consistency of IT service across the organization.## Qualifications#### Required Qualifications* Demonstrated hands-on experience troubleshooting computers, software, and user technology.* Professional IT experience is preferred; equivalent education, certifications, internships, military experience, volunteer experience, or other practical technical experience will be considered.* Strong customer service instincts, sense of urgency, patience with users, professionalism, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and nontechnical team members.* Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows computers, Microsoft 365 applications, common office hardware, printers, mobile devices, and basic account administration.* Foundational understanding of networking, identity and access, endpoint management, cybersecurity, and backup concepts, with a willingness to develop deeper expertise.* Ability to organize competing priorities, manage work through a ticketing system, document actions accurately, and follow issues through completion or escalation.* Sound judgment, curiosity, and discretion when handling confidential information, along with the ability to recognize when to troubleshoot independently, escalate, or obtain authorization before material, higher-risk, or security-sensitive system changes.* Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule, support occasional planned or urgent work outside normal business hours, and travel reliably between company locations as needed.* When operating a motor vehicle for company business, the employee must maintain a valid driver’s license and meet applicable company driving requirements.#### Preferred Qualifications* Experience in an MSP, help desk, service desk, desktop support, or another customer support environment using ticketing and remote support tools.* Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, networking, backups, endpoint management, or security tools.* Experience supporting Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or another enterprise business application.* CompTIA, Microsoft, or another relevant technical certification, and/or an associate or bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field. Certifications and degrees are welcomed but not required.#### Work Arrangement and Expectations#### Remote work: Occasional remote work may be available when the work and business needs allow, with manager approval. This is not a regularly scheduled hybrid position.#### Travel: Local travel between Sandy and Park City will occur as needed. Occasional travel to other company locations, including Arizona, may be required but is not expected to be routine.#### Physical and Work EnvironmentThis position regularly uses computers, telephones, mobile devices, and other office equipment.The work may require sitting or standing for extended periods and may involve walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, working under or near desks, accessing equipment in confined office areas, and working near network or telecommunications equipment.The position may require installing, positioning, and occasionally moving computers, monitors, printers, peripherals, and related IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation and using available assistance or equipment.#### Employment InformationA valid driver's license and insurability under the company auto insurance policy are required.
