Southern Glazer's offers a competitive compensation package with an hourly pay rate of $17.55 / hour plus incentives. We anticipate accepting applications up through September 8, 2026. **Overview** The CDL Driver is responsible for delivering products to clients; inspect the general condition of the vehicle; prepare, load, unload, operate, and clean the vehicle. Review standing orders, develop sales, process payments, and maintain records. **Primary Responsibilities** + Responsible for delivering and servicing all products within assigned accounts + Merchandises and stocks all coolers to effectively increase sell-through of products + Manages, rotates, and maintains a neat inventory in each account + Provides excellent customer service to accounts, effectively resolves concerns or issues with professionalism and in a timely manner + Honors all personal and business commitments to all customers + Operates company vehicle safely, courteously, and obeys all traffic regulations + Responsible for completion of all sales tickets, obtaining payment for product at all accounts, POD's collected and all related paperwork. + Completion of daily Check In/Out process, DOT pre-trips and post-trips. + Perform other duties as assigned **Additional Primary Responsibilities** **Minimum Qualifications** + Must have excellent customer service skills + Requires a strong attention to detail + Must be able to meet company MVR standard + Excellent communication skills with customers and co-workers + Must demonstrate an ability to operate company vehicles and equipment safely and effectively + Able to quickly learn product and account characteristics + Must be able to work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative. + Must be able to think critically, adapt to change and utilize available resources to solve problems + High school diploma or GED required + Valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card required + Clear motor vehicle record for the past three (3) years required + Previous driving and/or delivery experience preferred + Must be at least 21 years of age **Physical Demands** + Physical demands include a considerable amount of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping + Must be able to frequently lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 48 pounds + Must be able to regularly sit and operate machinery such as a forklift, pallet jacks, and battery change stations + Work may involve repetitive motions, working at varying heights, and exposure to warehouse environmental conditions + Extended hours, overtime, weekends, and peak‑season schedules may be required **EEO Statement** Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, an Affirmative Action/EEO employer, prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
