Account Executive

Please note, travel may be required up to 50% or more to meet sales objectives, and to attend company events and industry conferences. Position Responsibilities Set the plan for the assigned territory Develop and adhere to business plans to achieve company & individual sales plans and targets. Forecast and track sales in the territory. Cultivate new Enterprise-level client accounts as well as maintain existing account relationships to achieve individual and team sales targets. Conduct research into potential new clients to develop effective sales strategies in preparation for initial engagement. Facilitate a high-profile presence in the marketplace through the development of long-term client relationships/partnerships. Leverage existing base of industry contacts and clients as points-of-access to promote Ascend’s products and services. Develop compelling collateral to support business development activities. Develop comprehensive proposals in response to client RFQ's. Be a leader of EPM/CPM and Data & AI product and industry knowledge/trends. * All other duties as assigned Qualifications Four-year college degree in fields such as (but not limited to) Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years' experience as a sales manager, sales representative or a related occupation specifically in B2B selling across the enterprise. Experience working in a consultative capacity with C-suite level customers on CPM/EPM and Data & AI solutions and/or services. Extensive customer service experience in assessing and evaluating customer needs and satisfaction and meeting specified standards with respect to products and services. Exceptional oral and written comprehension, communication, and presentation skills. Experience demonstrating, promoting, and selling products/services. Knowledge and experience with marketing/sales strategy and tactics. Knowledge of administration, business, and management principles. Experience with MS Office, as well as Customer Relationship Management software and other analytical or project management tools (i.e., HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator). Extensive experience working in a team environment. Track record of exceeding revenue goals. Experience selling into both the private and public sector spaces Prior sales experience in the software and software services industry, especially within the CPM/EPM and Data & AI spaces with a focus on OneStream and Databricks Committed to delivering value and driving customer success Demonstrates sound judgment and a strategic mindset in client engagements Capable of building rapport with C-level executives and customers Highly organized and able to manage multiple complex sales cycles Tech-savvy with the ability to understand and communicate technical solutions Ability to understand and react to customer needs Flexible and adaptable in dynamic, fast-paced environments Results-driven with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets Able to travel within USA and internationally as required About Ascend Ascend Partners, a trusted advisor in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) consulting, proudly serves our clients globally from our headquarters in New York, NY.
