Bus Monitor (10-Month Position)
Gananda Central School District is seeking a dependable and caring Bus Monitor to join our Transportation Department. This is a 10-month position that follows the student school calendar.
Bus Monitors are assigned to school buses where student supervision and support are required to help ensure a safe and positive transportation environment. This position is guaranteed 4 hours of pay per day.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $17.59 per hour
- 95% district contribution toward the Excellus High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP)
- District contribution to a Health Savings Account (where applicable)
- Paid sick leave
- Membership in the New York State Retirement System
Qualifications
- Ability to supervise and assist students in a safe, courteous, and professional manner
- Successful completion of required fingerprinting and a physical performance test
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to student safety
