As an Associate Manager, Demand Planning, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the demand strategy for one or more North American Business Units, serving as a key connector between Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.In this highly visible role, you'll lead critical components of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, transforming market intelligence, customer insights, promotional plans, and historical performance into a robust demand forecast that guides business decisions and operational execution. Your expertise will directly impact inventory optimization, service levels, and business performance while helping the organization anticipate market trends and respond with agility.This is an opportunity to influence strategy, collaborate with senior cross-functional leaders, and make a measurable impact on some of the most recognized brands in the industry.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead monthly and quarterly demand forecasting and consensus processes for assigned portfolio or regionCollaborate closely with commercial partners gathering insights into long term business trends, media, and promo plans to influence our long-range forecastWork with Deliver the plan planners to incorporate S&OE forecast changes into long range plans; adjust plans for long term impactsCommunicate and present monthly changes with clear data drivers and gain collective buy in from cross functional partners on a consensus forecastCollaborate with Commercial and Supply Planning partners to model future business risks and opportunities and evaluate supportResponsible for actioning budget plans annuallyConduct root cause analyses of forecast error and identify corrective actionsRecommend and support corrective actions to improve forecast accuracy and overall planning effectivenessREQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRINGBachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or related field5+ years progressive experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain roles (or equivalent) with increasing responsibilityQualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorshipPREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLSStrong communication and collaboration skills; ability to present recommendations concisely to cross functional partners and gain support for consensus plans rooted in data and assumptionsQuantitative and qualitative data analysis, linking root cause to action driving KPI improvementAbility to work with and deal with ambiguity; analyze existing data, make assumptions, and present business cases for actionA fast-paced, multi-tasking expert with strong cross-functional project management capabilitiesEnd to End Supply Chain knowledge and understanding; able to quickly make decisions based on analysis of current assumptionsJOB REQUIREMENTSFull-time positionThis role is eligible for domestic relocationOffice work environment: Remote work available once a week for eligible employees after 90-day onboarding periodTravel <10%BENEFITS AND PERKS SC Johnson’s total compensation packages are at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 95,753.00 USD - 125,675.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives.
