Registered Nurse (RN) - Days Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a competent Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. The RN will practice independently, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of situations and providing both routine and complex care. This role involves making appropriate assignments and delegating responsibilities to other care providers to effectively manage clinical situations.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification from AHA required.
• ACLS certification from AHA required.
• RN License in the state of employment or compact required.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a days shift, operating on a 5x8 schedule from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Required to work weekends and be on-call.
