Introduction
An established AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in Snohomish, Washington is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced small animal team. Established in 1963, the hospital has grown into a major multidisciplinary veterinary centre with more than 20 doctors and 75+ team members, providing an exceptional level of collaboration and clinical support. This position offers the opportunity to become involved with the hospital's growing Integrative Medicine and Canine Rehabilitation services, but previous experience in acupuncture, rehabilitation, chiropractic care, or Chinese herbal medicine is absolutely not essential. The hospital is equally interested in accomplished general practice veterinarians who are curious about these areas and would like the opportunity to develop additional skills, as well as candidates who already have relevant training or certification.

Working Hours / Rota
The wider hospital provides veterinary care 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, although this is a full-time small animal Associate Veterinarian position rather than an advertised overnight emergency role. The specific working pattern will be discussed with the successful candidate. Being part of a hospital that operates around the clock provides excellent continuity of care and access to a broad team of experienced veterinary professionals when patients require additional support, while the multidisciplinary environment creates plenty of opportunity for collaboration across more complex cases.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you'll provide high-quality medical care for small animal patients, managing your own caseload while developing trusted, long-term relationships with clients and their pets. You'll work collaboratively with colleagues on diagnostics, treatment planning and ongoing patient management, with the opportunity to become involved in canine rehabilitation and integrative medicine according to your own interests. Crucially, acupuncture and rehabilitation experience are not requirements for the position; veterinarians with a strong general practice background who are interested in learning will be supported in developing these skills over time. Candidates who already hold, or are pursuing, qualifications in veterinary acupuncture or canine rehabilitation will also have the opportunity to expand their expertise, while interests in areas such as chiropractic care and Chinese herbal medicine can be developed further.

This AAHA-accredited, multi-species hospital has been serving the Snohomish community since 1963 and has developed into a major regional veterinary centre for the greater Puget Sound area. With more than 20 veterinarians and over 75 team members, the hospital offers an unusually strong depth of clinical experience and support, with general practice forming part of a wider environment that also provides emergency and advanced veterinary care. • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
