Job Opportunity: Full-Time Headache Specialist

Our organization is seeking a dedicated headache specialist to join our Department of Neurology. We value self-motivation, collegiality, and a strong commitment to clinical education. While fellowship training in headache medicine is preferred, relevant experience in managing headache disorders will also be considered.

• Engage in clinical education with residents and medical students at both bedside and academic levels.
• Collaborate with a team of three headache specialists and an experienced nurse practitioner.
• Participate in the development of a new Headache Fellowship program.
• Contribute to general inpatient teaching services for 2-4 weeks annually.
• Work alongside specialists in dementia, epilepsy, movement disorders, neurocritical care, and stroke.

• Fellowship training in headache medicine is preferred.
• Relevant experience in headache disorder management is acceptable.
• Strong interest in clinical education and mentorship.

Our Neurology Department is equipped with clinical research coordinators and regulatory personnel. Our faculty, trained at various esteemed institutions, have united in the picturesque Southern California to create a collaborative program that provides comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients.

The starting base compensation for this position ranges from $240,000 to $290,000, depending on years of experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity bonuses, which are determined by departmental compensation plans. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
