Role Description The Expeditor is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubuque, IA, responsible for ensuring that materials, parts, and equipment move efficiently through the supply process. Day-to-day tasks include tracking purchase orders, monitoring delivery schedules, and following up with vendors to resolve delays or discrepancies. The role coordinates with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to prioritize urgent orders, adjust timelines, and maintain accurate status updates in internal systems. The Expeditor reviews inventory levels, initiates requests for replenishment, and helps prevent stockouts and production interruptions. This position also involves maintaining clear documentation, communicating with internal stakeholders about order changes, and supporting process improvements to enhance overall supply chain efficiency. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills to track multiple orders, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously. Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with vendors, internal teams, and other stakeholders. Candidates should possess basic data entry and computer skills, including familiarity with inventory or ERP systems and standard office software. Candidates should possess attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify issues in orders, documentation, and delivery schedules and take corrective action. Candidates should possess a customer-focused mindset, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment. Relevant experience in supply chain, purchasing support, logistics coordination, or a similar expediting role is preferred.
