The role involves designing, developing, and deploying cutting‑edge capabilities to support Invesco’s separately managed accounts business. The ideal candidate is fluent in data and application integration, passionate about speed, quality, automation, and continuous delivery, and thrives in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment. About the Team The Investment Services Technology team is responsible for all Global Investment Services Technology projects and programs. The team closely partners with business executives and functional teams across all aspects of Invesco’s investments business, using Agile delivery methods and collaboration to provide automated and innovative solutions. About the Role The Senior Business Analyst oversees technology development solutions across applications, systems architecture, data infrastructure and machine learning algorithms, including maintenance and support of applications. The analyst reviews system requirements and business processes, codes, tests, debugs, and implements software solutions, acting as the primary interface between technology and a specific business area. Key Responsibilities Liaise with business partners to identify data patterns and themes, and translate them into reportable formats. Work closely with business analysts and product owners to break down data requirements into development tasks. Deliver curated data sets to the business for report generation. Deliver real‑time data for traders directly into the execution management system to support systematic trading algorithms. Contribute to the buildout of robust data pipelines using modern data engineering technology stack and cloud architecture. Manage application and data integration platforms using AWS Cloud components. Enable the full life cycle of projects: planning, design, development, testing, and rollout that conforms to Agile standards. Requirements of the Role Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer, Data Engineer, Business Solutions Analyst, or Engineer. Strong experience with Oracle / SQL Server. Working knowledge of data presentation layers (Power BI, Tableau). Working knowledge of Python programming. Familiarity with Agile methodology. Familiarity with AWS cloud platform. Securities industry knowledge. Knowledge of trading systems such as EzeCastle or CRD. Knowledge of “Perform” portfolio management system. Knowledge of order management system experience. Ability to pivot to new technologies as they become available. Comfortable working with ambiguity and translating imperfect data into tangible outputs. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with comparable written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of finance and accounting business processes to bridge requirements and technical solutions. Self‑motivated, capable of working independently and iteratively, and actively contributing as a team player.
