Heartline Staffing is recruiting a hands-on CTO Co-Founder for an early-stage healthcare AI startup opportunity in New York, New York.

POSITION OVERVIEW
• Lead technology, product architecture, and engineering execution from concept through production
• Build and launch an AI-enabled healthcare payments platform from the ground up
• Design secure, scalable systems for healthcare payment, claims, and revenue cycle workflows
• Recruit and lead the early engineering team
• Work directly with founders, investors, advisors, and early customers
• Move quickly from MVP to scalable commercial product

ROLE
• Own the technology vision, architecture, and engineering roadmap
• Personally contribute to hands-on product development and technical execution
• Build AI-enabled workflow automation into the product from the beginning
• Lead integrations with healthcare, billing, claims, payment, and data systems
• Evaluate and select the technical stack
• Design secure infrastructure for regulated, data-heavy workflows
• Partner with executive leadership to turn a validated thesis into a scalable commercial product

• Strong hands-on coding background REQUIRED
• Experience designing scalable, secure software systems REQUIRED
• Experience building AI-powered products, automation platforms, or intelligent workflow systems REQUIRED
• Understanding of claims, payments, reimbursement workflows, financial operations, or other transaction-heavy regulated environments REQUIRED
• Experience hiring, building, and leading engineering teams REQUIRED
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field REQUIRED
• Ability to work onsite in New York City REQUIRED
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship REQUIRED
