The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing purchasing strategies that support the company's fast fashion model, balancing quality, innovation, and profitability. They will also be tasked with building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, collaborating with various departments to ensure brand consistency, and maximizing growth opportunities. Applicants for the Head of Retail position at the company must have a minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar role within the fashion industry, with a focus on purchasing and retail operations. A deep understanding of the fashion industry and market trends, particularly in the fast fashion segment, is essential. The role requires an established network of suppliers in Asia and a proven track record in managing international business relationships. Strong leadership skills, the ability to motivate and develop teams, and excellent communication and negotiation abilities in both English and Spanish are also necessary.
