Junior Engineer

Responsibilities Support engineering and planning efforts for Submarine Rescue and Undersea Mobility platforms Develop modernization plans/changes for the US Navy Deep Submergence Assets and Support Systems Perform mechanical, electrical and/or structural analysis Evaluate components and materials and systems to ensure system integration, compatibility and stability Some travel will be required Work will be in support of US Navy Submarines, Submersibles or Deep Submergence projects Requirements Electrical / Mechanical / Systems / Ocean engineering degree from an ABET Accredited College/University Professional engineering experience performing complex engineering calculations such as heat transfer, fluid flow, piping stress, mechanical stress etc. Experience with configuration management and document control Demonstrated ability to manage work in a time-sensitive operational environment Ability to achieve excellence working individually or as part of a team Well‑developed interpersonal skills Attention to detail Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance #J-18808-Ljbffr
