The role is a Utility Technician who performs service installations, remediation services, and home improvement product installations. Continuous training and education through in‑house training sessions as well as outside seminars. Responsibilities Perform a variety of tasks involving installation and rodent exclusion projects. Ensure proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Handle handyman and general repair tasks, including insulation, encapsulation, and gutter installation. Stay within projected budget and complete required paperwork at the end of each job. Perform termite bait installation and insulation replacement projects. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Must have at least one year of general carpentry experience. Valid driver’s license maintained throughout the life of employment. Must maintain a good driving record and pass a criminal history background check, physical exam, and drug screen. Physical Demands / Working Environment Use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity. Constant walking, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting, climbing on ladders and roofs, reaching overhead, and squeezing with both hands. Install encapsulation in low light conditions. Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs. Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc. Work in all types of weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, sleet, hail, snow, and ice. The noise level in the work environment is generally loud, depending on the worksite.
