Is familiar with indication for use, action, and major side effects of medications administered.Qualifications & Skills:Graduation from an approved registered professional nursing program.Active, current Illinois license to practice professional nursing.CPR Certification Required - Accredited by American Heart Association.One year as an RN in a hospital (general care) or long-term care setting with adults preferred.Genuine interest in working with older adults.Knowledge of aging changes and common health problems of geriatric patients.Good communication skills.Ability to direct nursing assistants.About Presbyterian LivingPresbyterian Living is an independent, not-for-profit senior living organization offering a full continuum of care—including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care.
