About the team The User Compliance team sits at the critical intersection of Risk, Onboarding, and the company's diverse product teams. Our mission is to orchestrate the collection and verification of customer data, enabling us to manage financial, regulatory, and reputational risks across all of the company's offerings. We’re looking for deeply technical engineering managers with a background in risk or compliance and a passion for scaling distributed systems. What you’ll do Responsibilities Work with the company leaders across the company to create and drive toward the vision of simple and consistent Risk & Compliance experience; Work with Product Managers to shape up the product roadmap and enable the experiences which helps solve user problems and keep them complaint; Drive the roadmap and priorities for your team, and work with cross functional dependencies across the company to meet the deliverables; Own the technical roadmap for the team and support the engineering team in achieving a high level of technical excellence and stability Hire and develop the best of engineers in your team; Be a sponsor-coach for the team to learn and grow; Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of the company’s engineering management team You may be a fit for this role if you: Have built and managed critical systems working with cross functional teams globally; Any experience in RIsk and compliance domain is a plus; Have built and grown teams comprising of high talent individuals; Great people manager with proven track track record to build self driven and highly efficient teams; Thrive on a high level of autonomy and responsibility; Are curious. You enjoy learning and diving into the nuts-and-bolts of how things work – in this role, you’ll learn a ton about global money movement rails, currency conversion, inter-company flows, finance and accounting and more Are humble.
