Staff Product Manager, Data Strategy & Products

Intuitive Surgical

Staff Product Manager role at Intuitive Surgical focused on defining and scaling connected data products that integrate robotic surgical systems with patient and hospital data. The position drives product strategy, stakeholder discovery, and cross-functional execution to accelerate AI/ML development, clinical research, and innovation across the organization.

Responsibilities

Own vision, strategy, and 12-18 month roadmap for connected data products linking robotic systems with patient and hospital data
Evaluate opportunities and build business cases quantifying impact on research velocity, development cycles, and enterprise value
Engage health system customers and partners to understand external needs and translate insights into product requirements
Define product requirements, adoption goals, release plans, and facilitate cross-functional roadmap execution
Present strategy and business cases to senior leadership to influence investment decisions

Requirements

10+ years product management, product strategy, data product, or platform product experience
Track record leading complex initiatives from discovery through roadmap execution
Experience building business cases, prioritization frameworks, and measurable product outcomes
Strong partnership experience with engineering, data, analytics, AI/ML, or platform teams
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate ambiguity in complex environments
Excellent executive communication and strategic storytelling skills
Strong analytical capabilities in qualitative discovery and quantitative impact assessment
