Job Title Guest Services Agent Department Front Office Location An architectural icon in the heart of Lower Manhattan. Responsibilities Guestservices Agent will create memorable experiences by delivering superior service and ensuring smooth guest operations throughout the hotel. Essential Functions Checks in guests efficiently and friendly, using names when possible. Ensures correct room type and rate. Arranges luggage delivery and issues keys. Checks out guests and processes final billing, maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Handles all guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests and resolving complaints. Responds to guest requests accurately and promptly, in person and by phone. Uses computer systems to check guests in/out, run reports, and manage reservations. Accepts reservations, changes, and cancellations in the absence of CORE staff. Assists with guest calls and directs them appropriately. Quotes and manages room and rate availability for current and future dates. Coordinates with Concierge for luggage handling and guest inquiries. Qualifications and Skills Knowledge of front desk operations. Strong communication skills in speaking, writing, and reading English. Physical mobility to lift, walk, bend, and move up to 50 lbs. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work flexibly across all shifts, including mornings, evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays. Schedule Flexible; ability to work all shifts, including mornings, evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays. Compensation Hourly rate: $30–$38.
