Desktop Support Specialist

Type: Contract-to-Hire | 6-Month Contract with Potential Direct Hire Travel: Occasional travel to other Texas locations Responsibilities Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support in an enterprise environment. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and end-user technology issues. Provide onsite technical support and occasional support at other Texas locations. Support and administer technologies including Active Directory, Microsoft/Windows environments, Google Workspace, and ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow . Assist with user account, identity, and access management activities. Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge-base content. Participate in technology projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. Follow established IT service management processes and service-level expectations. Maintain accurate IT asset records and support asset management activities. Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to improve service delivery and the end-user experience. Provide technical guidance, training, and knowledge-sharing to users as needed. Follow established workplace safety and operational procedures. Stay current with emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve systems and support processes. Required Skills 3+ years of hands-on experience in desktop support, end-user support, systems support, or IT operations. Strong experience with Active Directory and Microsoft/Windows environments . Experience supporting Google Workspace/Google Suite . Experience with ServiceNow or another enterprise ITSM platform . Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication, organization, and customer-service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working independently as well as within a collaborative IT team. Ability to work 100% onsite in Plano, TX . Willingness to travel occasionally to other Texas locations.
