- New employees of the Department of Military Affairs will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- New employees of the Department of Military Affairs are required to participate in a direct deposit/electronic transfer program.
- The Department of Military Affairs is paid on a monthly basis.
- This position is a Cooperative Agreement position.
- As a CANDIDATE, you are required to provide documentation (i.e., High School Diploma or Equivalency, College Transcripts, ETC.) to verify meeting these Minimum Qualifications.
- Must be able to obtain a completion of a favorable National Agency Check background investigation clearance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent; AND
- Two (2) years of professional, full-time-equivalent experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment.
- This includes motors, drive gear, switches, sensors, wiring harness, brackets, relays, circuit cards, rectifiers, transformers, modems, radios, batteries, computer program, network switch, surge suppressers, and silhouettes. Report safety issues to supervisor.
- This includes motors, drive gear, switches, sensors, wiring harness, brackets, batteries, relays, circuit cards, rectifiers, transformers, modems, radios, batteries, computer program, network switch, surge suppressers, power connectors and cables, signal connectors and cables, gas regulators and lines, target, SES and BES layout, target protection, and silhouettes. This includes bullets holes in target box and target protection cover.
- This includes motors, drive gear, switches, sensors, wiring harness, brackets, relays, circuit cards, rectifiers, modems, radios, batteries, computer program, network switch, surge suppressers, power connectors and cables, signal connectors and cables, gas regulators and lines, target, SES and BES layout, and silhouettes.
Performs automated direct range support.
- This includes responding to range support calls to quickly diagnose and make corrections to target range faults whether by repairing or total replacement of faulty components (whichever is the fastest means) to limit range down time.
- Knowledge of the procedures, techniques, equipment, and tools used in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment.
- Knowledge of electronic equipment components and design requirements.
- Skill in using specialized tools and equipment to install, maintain and repair electronic equipment.
- Ability to identify and repair electronic malfunctions in electronic equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow technical instructions relating to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
