Position Summary:

At Miru, the Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. This position is responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are clean, sanitized, and ready for use, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing machines or by hand.

• Ensure all cleaned items are properly stored in designated areas.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down counters, and taking out trash.

• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed.

• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and chemicals, notifying the supervisor when inventory is low.

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to kitchen hygiene and sanitation.

• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the kitchen manager promptly.

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
