Registered Nurse - Telemetry Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 3x12 Nights (19:00 - 07:30) with floating required to other units or hospitals as needed.

The Registered Nurse will provide care on a Telemetry unit specializing in orthopedics and bariatric patients. Responsibilities include monitoring patient vitals, managing dysrhythmias, and ensuring compliance with isolation precautions. As a part of the inter-disciplinary care team, the RN will collaborate with various departments including Physical Therapy and Respiratory Services.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and manage blood products safely.
• Provide central line care and management.
• Interpret EKG readings and monitor telemetry for patient dysrhythmias.
• Adhere to isolation protocols and utilize PPE appropriately.
• Assist with oxygen administration and peripheral line care.
• Float to other qualified units as required by the unit-specific needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the nursing field, with at least 2 years in the specialty area.
• Active SC RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• 1 year minimum experience with EPIC EMR preferred.

Location: Position available in South Carolina.
