MSAT Scientist II (Technology Transfer)

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an MSAT Scientist II to lead technology transfer activities for injectable pharmaceutical products, performing process development, formulation studies, and commercial scale-up support at a steriles manufacturing facility in Greenville, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

Execute technology transfer activities and manufacturing process development for injectable products through scaleup
Support formulation, filling, and freeze-drying operations with technical expertise and problem-solving
Prepare documentation including work orders, protocols, and technical reports with minimal supervision
Lead moderate-complexity projects involving process validation, change controls, and equipment design
Serve as subject matter expert for manufacturing operations, investigations, and internal technical discussions

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related physical science
2+ years of related experience with Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree in related field
Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and pharmaceutical development methodology
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with excellent written and presentation skills
Experience in CMO or pharmaceutical product development preferred
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and interpret statistical data
