Pay: $15.00/hour during training; after training, compensation transitions to a performance-based piece rate (ABC rate), with earning potential based on productivity. This pay rate may be below your state's minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying.

Monday Friday | 2nd shift | 2:00 PM 11:30 (Clean Desk Policy)

Clean Desk Policy: Employees are required to complete all assigned work and clear their workstation before the end of each shift.

Additional overtime as needed, including some Saturdays

About the Role

As a Mailroom Postage Clerk, you will support daily operations in a high-volume mailroom environment. This hands-on role involves operating postage machines, sorting and organizing mail, and ensuring all materials are processed accurately and efficiently.

You will work in a structured, production-focused setting where attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to meet daily targets are essential.

Requirements

We're looking for team members who are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment. To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Ability to stand for the entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
• Basic computer and system navigation skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks at a consistent pace
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to meet productivity and quality standards
• High school diploma or GED

Key Duties

• Load 6x9 envelopes into postage machines and ensure proper setup
• Monitor machine operations to ensure accurate postage and workflow
• Inspect materials for quality before and after processing
• Sort, organize, and stage mail for outgoing delivery
• Prepare completed mail for transport to the post office
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Follow all safety, security, and production procedures
• Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $26,600-$33,250.
