After School Preschool Assistant

About This Role This position will be working with our 18 month to 5 year old students from 2:30-5:30 Monday-Friday (Must be all 5 days) in our afternoon school program. What You'll Do Mealtime snack supervision and preparation Conduct and afternoon Circle time to further the class in the thematic unit they are studying Gross motor play supervision in our gymnasium or on our playground as weather permits Reading to small groups Facilitating classroom center play Maintain frequent communication with parents through informal or written conversations and using out Procare communication app Complete 12 hours of continuing education training as required by DHS Maintain communication between the day school program teachers and yourself to advise if parent communication is needed Ability to work well with others and be a positive team player Requirements Must be at least a High School graduate and bye 21 years of age Must be of the Christian Faith Must be able to life up to 40 pounds Must be able to stand for at least three hours Must pass an FBI background check Must pass a health screening Nice To Haves CPR/1St Aid Training 1-2 Years of experience working in a Preschool childcare setting High Energy Ability to work well with others and as a team Good communication skills in english Benefits Paid Leave Sick Leave Professional Development Paid Training Paid personal time off Follow the Collierville Schools Calendar for holidays so you will have all the major holidays off on an unpaid basis Friendly place to work with great support #J-18808-Ljbffr Acquire4Hire
