Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity making a lasting impact on students from PreK through 5th grade. This contract position offers the flexibility of part-time or full-time hours, working onsite with a manageable caseload of about 30 students. Located in a welcoming community near Estill Springs, TN, you’ll play a vital role in fostering students’ communication and academic growth.

Your responsibilities will focus on providing high-quality speech-language therapy, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating with teachers and parents, and monitoring student progress. You’ll be working closely with a supportive school team and will have access to all the resources you need to help your students thrive.

Desired skills and qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure as required for practicing in schools
• School-based experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for working with young children in educational settings

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting evaluations and assessments for PreK-5 students
• Designing and delivering therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and offering consultative support to staff and families
• Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with all required reporting
