Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Duties may include running laboratory instrumentation, performing manual testing, specimen receiving and processing, and computer related duties such as patient entry, test request entry/requisition formatting, on‑line/manual entry of test results, data retrieval, printing and answering worksheets, printing panic and pending log sheets, phoning panic values and documenting in the computer system, quality control, reagent preparation, and following general laboratory and safety procedures including universal precautions and chemical and biochemical hazard precautions. Minimum Qualifications NYS license/registration or limited permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist медицин with 2 years clinical lab experience required. Candidates with less than 2 years clinical lab experience or with a NYS license/registration or limited permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technician will be considered for appointment to a commensurate title and salary. Must be able to distinguish colors for the purposes of performing laboratory tests. Work Schedule Monday - Friday, Evenings (3:00 pm‑11:30 pm); Rotating Weekends and Holidays.
