About the Role: Seeking a detail-oriented CT Technologist (CT Tech). This position requires experience in performing standard and basic CT scans, active patient transport and setup, and handling high-volume scans in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trauma workflows, hands-on patient movement, and contrast injections.

Location: Detroit, MI 48235

Shift: Night Shift (7PM-7:30AM) Rotating weekends, 3x12 hour shifts

Pay: $30-31.50/hr - Based on experience

Qualifications:

• Experience: Active experience as a CT Tech in a hospital or Level 2 Trauma setting

• Hands-on physical ability to assist in moving patients to beds and setting up machines

• Recent experience within a fast-paced hospital environment

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant CT Technologist certification/accreditation

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Siemens CT Scanners, Cerner EHR system, and contrast injection equipment

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of adult and geriatric care, basic CT scans (head, chest, abdomen, pelvis), CT As, and contrast administration

• Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately perform basic CT scans including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and CTA procedures.

• Safely administer contrast injections and monitor patient response.

• Assist in moving patients over to beds and physically setting up scanning machines.

• Work actively between the ER and radiology department in a high-volume setting.

• Manage high-volume scan workloads of up to 60 to 80 scans per night.

• Provide care primarily to adult and geriatric populations, with rare pediatric emergency stabilization.

• Navigate and document patient data accurately within the Cerner EHR system.

• Collaborate with ER and hospital care teams to ensure efficient diagnostic imaging.
