This service makes a real difference to the lives of our passengers and will make you proud of the work that you do.Job Purpose: Provides safe, reliable, and efficient transportation. Drives and maintains the appearance of the interior of the bus.Job Responsibilities:Loading and unloading of passengers on vehiclesTransporting of passengers, including those that are either senior citizens, or persons with disabilitiesCommunication of transport details with dispatchEscorting passengers from vehicle to/from first pickup locationMaintains a strong attendance record.Must drive to any assigned location, which may involve driving over bridges and through tunnels.Requirements:Possess a Class A or B license with Passenger EndorsementPossess a valid DOT medical certificateMust be at least 23 years of age and have held a regular driver license for 3 yearsMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and DOT physicalExcellent communication & customer service skillsPhysical Requirements:Ability to push/pull tension of at least 50 pounds and ability to bend and stoop/kneel to assist passengers boarding and securing in wheelchair/scooters and/or to retrieve equipment. Twist at the knee and waist when operating vehicle, performing vehicle inspections, and securing wheelchairs. Reach forward, rearward, upward, and downward when operating vehicle, performing vehicle inspections, and securing wheelchairs.Required to sit while operating vehicle approximately 75% of the work day.
