The Global Ambassador is an internationally inspired hotel from hospitality innovator Sam Fox and the newest addition to Author & Edit, his growing collection of hospitality experiences. What You’ll Do
Oversee banquet services throughout the hotel
Regularly communicates and collaborates with our internal Events team and clients to execute unique and memorable events
Willingness to learn and accommodate changes in the industry
Professional, yet comfortable with candid & open to and acting upon feedback – all with the guest and employee experience top of mind
Manage shifts which include daily decision making, scheduling, and planning
Able to read and comprehend weekly Banquet Events Orders
Ensure product quality and event space cleanliness
Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
Manage on-the-fly requests with ease and poise
Coach, lead and develop team
Qualifications
Must have 3+ years previous leadership experience in luxury hotel banquets
An open, curious mind with a desire to deliver a tailored guest experience with a hospitality every time mindset
Highly organized multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
