Thank you for considering a career with us! Summary: Provides clerical support and assistance to Nursing Department.: Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Licenses/Certification: Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) preferred Experience: 1-2 years experience in Nursing Environment 1-2 years office experience Essential Functions: Responsible for providing secretarial support for all employees within an assigned nursing unit Maintains and updates patients' records for a given unit. Communicates with Doctors , families and residents in a professional manner Accurately file resident records in their charts. Assist the nursing team in documentation Performs other tasks as assigned. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members. Must be organized and have the ability to follow directions. Ability to be patient and polite. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
