Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, with a contract opportunity extending from ASAP through January. Your expertise will make a tangible difference for students across various grade levels, focusing on developing essential communication skills and helping them thrive in their educational environments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license and Department of Education certification
- Clinical Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in school settings preferred
- Strong collaboration skills for working alongside educators, parents, and other related service providers
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Consult with teachers and families to design effective interventions
- Maintain thorough records and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide support and guidance for students with a wide variety of communication needs
