Registered Nurse (RN) – Radiation Oncology Location: Brandywine, MD | Contract To Hire $45-50/hour NurseAmerica is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Oncology RN to join a high-performing outpatient team supporting patients undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments (medical history, labs, psychosocial needs) Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans Administer medications, chemotherapy-related treatments, and blood products Perform venipuncture and manage central lines and implanted ports Monitor patient response to treatment and coordinate dose adjustments Provide patient and family education and emotional support Ensure accurate documentation and proper treatment authorization Follow OSHA and infection control standards for hazardous materials Assist with patient flow, triage calls, scheduling, and referrals Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and clinical teams Qualifications Active RN license (Maryland)/ Compact BLS certification 1–3 years RN experience (oncology preferred) Strong clinical and communication skills Work Environment Outpatient oncology setting Exposure to radiation and cytotoxic agents Standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs required #J-18808-Ljbffr
