RN - Interventional Radiology (IR)

IR RN - 40HRS DAYS. Orientation every Monday. Local rate within 60 miles. Shifts will vary between 0700-1530, 0730-1600, and then 0830-1700 on their call days. Weekday call is about once a week and from 1700-2100. Weekend call is about every 4-5 weekend from 0900-1400 on both Saturday and Sunday of your weekend.

Certs Req: ACLS, BLS. 2YRS Interventional Radiology EXP. Travel Experience Required. Ratio: 1:1. PICC/Midline certified preferred. Scrubs are provided.

Skills: Interventional Radiology, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Monitoring Procedural Sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring*, Starting and maintaining IVs*, PICC/Midline certified*

Return Staff Policy: Nurses with previous MedStar employment must have been separated for a minimum of one year before returning as a traveler.

Submittals: Candidates may be submitted to only one MedStar location at a time. Interview Process: Manager interviews are not guaranteed. Travelers must be comfortable proceeding without an interview. Any traveler questions should be directed to the AM.

Compliance Requirements: Candidates are assigned facility-and unit-specific Sitel modules upon hire, which must be completed within one week of signing their contract. Failure to complete them within this timeframe may result in cancellation. Labs and DS appointment must be completed within 48 hours of signing. Failure to complete them within this timeframe may result in cancellation. Candidates are encouraged to plan ahead to prevent conflicts with vacations or work schedules.
